  • 20241109 - first attempt. A. Very good. Will try the Dark baking setting next time. Will think about a way to make a heavier, more robust texture. Oats? Wheat kernels? Bran or other fiber?

banana bread - breadmaker booklet

Adapted the recipe in the (downloaded) manual to match what I had on hand.

272Wh. Substantially more than the IP (160Wh) and crock (≥180Wh) but it was 3x the size, kneaded, and proofed.

In this order:
207g warm water
14g room temperature butter
7.8g dry milk powder
19g sugar
6g salt
13g brown sugar
192g white flour
128g wheat flour
4g yeast

Specialty bread mode, light bake
After 30mins add:
inclusions, ripe bananas, & 2.6g cinnamon

Select light bake again
  • 202411 - C - failure; very light and almost no banana flavor. May try original recipe with yeast instead of baking powder
