Got the new repeater in today, flashed it to MT and configured.

It was plugged into USB for the setup so it took me a little while to realize the 18650 batts I put in weren’t charging. Turns out the battery compartment is set up for button top 18650 and all mine are flat top. I made some little metal shims so the flat tops would reach the contacts and it’s working fine.

Not much traffic visible over here since the Franklin mountain repeater went to Meshcore. I’ll keep it up on MT for a while to see what happens.
