mounted the securitycam outside the gate

I thought I’d written about this cam but if I did I can’t find it right now. I bought it about a year ago to use at campsites. It’d watch for wildlife and also let me look around from the phone if I heard something outside. It’s wonky in a few ways¹ that annoy me but for ~$40 it works well enough for my purposes.

I just remembered I had it and thought it could be useful for seeing when packages are left outside the gate. With a bit of aiming the scooter and part of the van are also visible.

1. Only uses 2.4GHz wifi. Requires registration to work; I’d prefer something purely local. The companion app is also wonky. ↩
