/r/CamperVans was unmoderated a few months back. Reddit asked for volunteers and I figured I could help. Reddit actually appointed three mods; in theory this sounds like load-sharing but in practice it was more work. I also didn’t really like the sub that much; mostly under informed casuals and renters that I have little in common with.

When /r/boondocking’s mod went MIA I put in for that. Got it and stepped down from /r/CamperVans. Spent the morning cleaning up spam and NSFW in the mod queue and drew up some basic rules (no spam, etc).
