range

The spot where many west-siders went to shoot has been closed. I have a backlog of handloads I need to test and when I got there the access was marked private property. I don’t know if the actual shooting location is still legal to shoot at but I’m not risking it.

There is a private, unmanned range about 10mi away, the same distance as the open range. It’s $100/yr but has shooting benches, steel targets, etc.

It will be impractical to set up and access [the existing chrono](https://amzn.to/3DhApiJ from behind the benches so I ordered an Athlon Rangecraft. I’ve had a set of shooting rest bags I need to fill and bring with me.

timeline

It’ll take a while for the mailed club ID and chrono to get to me. I was planning to shoot the test loads I have now but while waiting I might as well finish the Titegroup and Longshot tests in backlog.
