data from another 28 alternator direct charging runs

Earlier I had wondered if I were getting higher charge acceptance since replacing the FLA starter batt with AGM, but after seeing some data I don’t think that’s the case. Still in line with previous data.

Note: C-rates are lower than last time because the 150Ah bank has been replaced with 280Ah. The 180A stock alternator and VSR remain unchanged.

  • Average: 0.11C (29.5A) at 60.3% SoC. Bank at 13.26v before alternator charging.
  • Highest: 0.14C (39.5A) at 47%. 13.12v.
  • Lowest: 0.07C (18.5A) at 62%. 13.29v.
