packages
Disclosure: I’ve been an Amazon customer since they only sold books.
When I was on the road I bought lots of stuff from Amazon because packages could be delivered to their lockers. Over the years their delivery has gone from “seriously fast” to “yeah, we don’t care”. The latest example is an item I bought on the 11th that is still lollygagging today (the 22nd). It actually didn’t leave Amazon until the day it was supposed to arrive. They held the “expected today” line until midnight even though it was many states away, at which point it changed to “oops, the 26th”.
OTOH, shipping from eBay sellers has been phenomenal and even walmart does a good job.
