Escapees Mail Forwarding Service - Important Document Received

As an extended benefit of your Escapees mail forwarding service, 
we are notifying you of of mail received from the vehicle 
registration office.

Not sure what document this would be. Maybe just the registration stickers. In case it’s actually the plates¹ + stickers in a packet small enough they are calling it a document I had them forward it to the nearest PO by Priority. That should help make up some time if Houston sits on it for a week like last time. I’ll be annoyed if the registration got kicked back.

Rain was due to start yesterday so I set out catchment. Caught ~6 gallons overnight and set up my water dispenser bucket. I’ll start using that for cleaning and cooking and use the partially-filled freshwater tank for drinking only. Going to do more water-intensive cooking with it since it’s “free”: pasta, beans, matzoh ball soup, etc.

I woke up at 6am but had really bad spins. Went back to sleep. Woke up about 9am and tried to sit up but the vertigo was intense. Plus hot flashes and nausea now. I dug into my shorts pocket for a dog poop bag to use as a barf bag. After about another half hour I could walk in the van while holding onto stuff.

Another hour later and I feel about 90%. Maybe a side effect of resuming my hypertension and statin meds after picking them up in town? I’ll try not to run out again.

So far I’m getting by with only the mounted panels with afternoon shade. Yesterday was clear and it finished Absorption by about noon. Today has been overcast-to-partly-cloudy but I still hit my minimum 1kWh by local solar noon. At 1.35kWh now at 1341 but I assume skies will darken again with afternoon rains. Would really like to catch 2kWh/day so I don’t have to make adjustments to my usual routines.

Update: got 2.05kWh.

1. the stickers alone are of no practical use since I have no plates to put them on. So I would have waited to send those until the plates came in. ↩
