backchannel: preferring portable panels video

Saw the “Why I Prefer Portable Solar Panels for Van Life - Featuring My New Zoupw 350w Solar Panel” this morning.

I’m sure it’s unrelated to the fact they gave you the panel.

To be fair, the panel itself seems to be decent. But this is your reminder not to buy solar components that do not have the specs easily available in the listing or in a manual linked in the listing. I had to google (not just duckduckgo) for the manual (pdf) which has the important info: the Vmp is 43.2v and the Voc is 50.2v. The listing incorrectly says Maximum Voltage 43.2 Volts which is certainly not the case. I understand the marketing team not understanding Vmp vs Voc but a tech should review all copy before it’s posted.
