logistics of relo from SFE to Los Alamos
It’s getting too warm here in Santa Fe so I am planning my next move. Here is my general thinking about the next few months.
Notes:
- July is the hottest average month in the SFE area.
- I was thinking about heading for Los Alamos on May 15th, but I found a spot in SFE with good shade in midday. Set up a hammock and lawn chair. If it’s still too warm we will pack up and head out earlier than June 1.
June

Monsoon season begins
July
30-day excursion to 10,000ft if temps demand (and I assume they will)
August
Back to Los Alamos for another month
September
Santa Fe.
Moonsoon ends ~mid September
October
TBA , but temps should be optimal in SFE
