It’s been a bit difficult getting reloading stuff on the road. I buy locally when it’s available and not insanely priced, from Amazon when they will ship it to lockers (they refuse many items), and mail order from Titan and Graf when necessary. It’s a bit of an adventure getting them to ship to where I am rather than my mailing address 700 miles away…
basics
- Lee reloading press #90045 (C-frame).
- six-pack of Hornady locking rings
- Lee universal decapping die and spare pin
- Imperial sizing die wax
- RCBS stuck case remover 09340
- Lee ram prime (normal version, not the breechlock)
- Lee case trimmer and lock stud
- Lee chamfer tool. I’d like to have the Lyman tool but it costs several times as much :-(
- impact bullet puller
- RCBS powder trickler (bought used at DAM Ammo Company,Las Cruces,NM)
- powder funnel
- AWS-100 digital scale, 100g x 0.01g, as recommended by the /r/reloading/ FAQ
DIY
- case lube: 12:1 IsoHeet and castor oil. 99% iso and liquid lanolin were not available locally.
- case tumbler: thrift store ice cream churn (in progress)

8x57mm Mauser
- 4 die Lee set. It’s not clear that’d I’d need the crimper but having both the FL and neck-sizing dies is nice.
- Lyman 8x57mm ammo checker
- gauge and shell holder for the trimmer
One of the old classic Lee loaders (hammer time!) would make me unreasonably happy, but as of this writing used ones on eBay are starting off at $189. Sounds like Lee needs to crank up the production line again…
reforming to 8mm Mauser
For resizing .30-06 and .270 brass
- mini pipe cutter for roughcutting the necks. The forming/trimming die is supposed to be hardened enough that you can file on it, but
- I don’t have a file
- a tubing cutter is less likely to make a mess in the campervan
- Redding 8x57mm form & trim die #83159
9mm parabellum
- 4 die Lee set.
- gauge and shell holder for the trimmer
.380 ACP
Srsly: do not take my word (or anyone else’s) on matters of reloading. Get some manuals and be safe
