Been making steady progress:
annual VA exam
My doctor (an NP IIRC) is terrific. My numbers were good, other than an increase in A1C numbers likely caused by short-term overeating after I got the increase.
On the spinal issues, got referred to immediate xray, to aquatic therapy, and MRI will follow later. Dr is unamused by the c-spine “indentation of the spinal cord”. The lumbar problem is different mechanism mainly between the sacrum and lowest lumbar vertebra. The lumbar hurts worse and causes more problems but the Dr agrees with the specialist a few years ago that the cervical problem is first priority.
Also smashed my calf during the move and while we were xraying we added that to the mix. I assume there’s nothing busted or the radio tech would have put out the bat signal already.
Scheduled me for a colonoscopy, but apparently the liquid you have to drink isn’t as vile as before.
received first deliveries
Got some deliveries from walmart and amazon at this address. Shipping was free from both but I’d probably have paid it to avoid going into WM around xmas times. Good lord. Got dog food, and socks & underwear to replace the worn out ones I’d been nursing along out of necessity.
From amazon I picked up a windshield extension for the scooter (PO was shorter than me), an Amazon Basics powered USB hub for the laptop, and a bluetooth transmitter so I can listen to shows playing on the monitor while working around the house. On Monday a second package comes in with a USB charging station, a small solar panel to keep the scooter battery charged up, pepper spray refills, a small rotary scrubber, and a bidet attachment for the terlet. I had a bidet attachment at the last house I lived in and it was quite nice, especially if one is making frequent trips to the bathroom.

I called to change these over last Thursday but don’t have any confirmation in mail, email, etc. The changes were electronic so they didn’t require a house visit. I’ll call Monday to make sure everything went as planned.
