Got notice this morning that the DV plate Priority Mail package was at the Taos main PO. It’s go time!

Made a 15mi detour to Los Alamos to pick up the GD mailed on the 27th; still not there or they can’t find it. I think it’s just the paper temp plates but I don’t know for sure. If it ever shows up it will be returned as not picked up and Escapees can charge me to mail it again.

Counterlady seemed annoyed at my arrival to pick up GD. She said it’d be ready by 1:30pm. Fine; doggo and I walked the mail street a bit to kill the time. It was warmer than I liked i town (84F).

Returned later and got the package from a friendly counterman.

The last time I was in this area was almost five years ago. At that time I had 1 bar of TMO and that was it. This time I have 1 bar of Verizon (in the LTE router) and 2 bars of ATT in the phone.

I picked a spot where I will have sun until about 11am then leafy shade afterwards. I’ll try to not use the portables unless needed.

12F cooler up here than in town, a welcome change. It started raining lightly as I put out the step stool.

That’s all for now; very tired. I’m over the covid but still tire easily. :-(
