I bought propane

Normally this wouldn’t be worth mentioning but I last filled the 20lb tank in January. This suggests that cooking with excess solar power has reduced my propane consumption by 2/3rds. I still use propane when the extra warmth is welcome.

From a money point of view it’s not a huge deal, $2.17/month instead of $6.67. $54/year. But every dollar counts when one is on a tight budget.
