a little worried about RTR 2018

I was hoping that the announcement of the dates for the 2018 RTR would be forum-only and not on youtube.  Is it wrong to wish folks had to do a little reading to figure out what’s going on?

I suspect this next one will be “peak #vanlife” and by 2019-2020 the social trend will start to revert to the mean.

My approved vacation starts only a couple days before RTR begins so I will likely be a couple days late.  I’d like to take it easy on the way up.  But I do this knowing there is a decent chance the RTR will be disbanded by BLM or other entity by the time I get there.

It doesn’t bother me that much, ‘though I would like to meet several folks.  If it blows up I’ll just boondock back to Texas at my leisure.
