good marketing demo, bad test
This video has always bugged me. I would rather it be conducted by a 3rd party vs a vested player:

It would be more informative to test them with traction control both on and off. And include the LSD option on the Transit for a three-way test:

Transit <– probably would do worst of all

Transit with limited-slip diff option <– probably would be as good as the PM. I’d say “or better” but I didn’t see any slippage on the PM.
Promaster doesn’t have a LSD option so at some point the Transit would likely have better grip. Starting from the bottom of the hill at 0mph would show if limited slip beats FWD in this scenario.
