Salesmen are liars.    They can’t help it;  like the scorpion to who stings the frog crossing the river it’s their nature.

Salesmens’ verbal promises are non-actionable when this kind of clause exists in car/rv purchase agreements:

Yes, the customer should know what they’re getting into.  No, salesmen should not be able to lie with no repercussions.
