backchannel: The M in MPPT again

A smaller nitpick on a post this time:

Our fancy MPPT controllers find a happy intermediate range (between no load and full load) where the load applied can extract the maximum power for a given amount of sunlight.

… the load applied will extract the appropriate level of power for a given demand. Sometimes that’s the maximum.

PPT controllers don’t run the panels at full blast all the time.  That’s what I was saying in this post.  Fixating on the Maximum aspect distorts our collective thinking.
