online banking

I’ve been threatening for years to open an account with an online-only bank.  I was trying to choose between Ally and Charles Schwab.  Schwab gets the nod for folks who travel internationally but my overseas travel is done.

I went with an Ally money market deposit account.  I’ll leave my Chase account open for now.

Most of my savings is going into 401k now but I’ll need a place to take mandatory distributions, etc.
