National Parks access pass

I’m more of a national monument guy than a national park guy since I like to boondock.  But a recent VA newsletter pointed out that the lifetime Access Pass for disabled folk is $10.

The senior lifetime pass is now $80 and you have to be >= 62 to

qualify.

The Senior and Access passes appear to be special in that they may offer discounts on Expanded Amenity Fees:

**[Expanded Amenity Fee](https://store.usgs.gov/faq#Definitions):** Fee charged for "the extras" that aren't basic entrance or standard amenity fees. Examples include: camp grounds, boat launches, and guided tours.

I put in for one and submitted my VA disability info.  We’ll see what happens.
