six months in the camper

Feb 14th was my six-month “vanniversary”.  There was a reddit post asking for van success stories.  My response wasn’t really what it was looking for but in retrospect it sums up the experience so far:

Living in a tiny space with few possessions has made me notice and enjoy even the smallest victories. A parking spot with good sun for the panels. A nice breeze. Fixing something that broke.  A neat thing to walk to (trail, food truck, whatever). A source of free water. Open wifi. Seeing 100% on the state of charge meter. Feeling safe inside when there is bad weather outside. Petting a friendly dog :-) It seems like my threshold for gratitude has been recalibrated so that I find success many times a day.
